1st year SSG election

It was a very successful election for the 1st year students. The SSG officers and Disk Club Officers came together and helped in making the election as favorable as possible. We had groups of 1st year students enter the computer rooms and had assigned officers to every station.

July 4, 2011 flag ceremony

As days go by, we come out with idea after the other for an interesting and nutritious month long celebration. Sometimes, the members disagree on things like what to do for our 1^st presentation on stage. We came up choosing between a dance presentation or a musical play. A puppet show was also suggested but it didn’t came through.

Now, because of different reasons why meetings were canceled for almost a week, things were rearranged. July was coming too fast so we came to agreement of calling off the drama presentation. Considering our shortness of time to prepare, instead, we ended up choosing the dance presentation “Makulay ang Buhay”.

Selected students from IV-2 united and made the dance presentation. They were in-charge for the doxology and dance presentation. We have the following people to thank. Kimberly Martinez, Michael Estioco, Gerralyn Dalmacio, Jestoni Amarado, Jemima Goyo, Gillian Alog, Rajah Mae Javier, Justin Estorga, Vanessa Venida, James Carlo Ronquillo, Kyra Macaldo and Paulo Lumbang. These people were really passionate to what their doing. Their coordination was great which helped a lot.

Then, July 4, 2011 came. It is a shiny early Monday morning, every student of Kapitolyo High School come and join the Flag ceremony. Commonly, we have the students fall in-line according to their year and section. So, as we made sure that all the videos to be projected and the people in-charge of their chosen act for the ceremony are achieved. Our IV-2 students were getting ready for their act. Proceeding with the ceremony, everything was an accomplishment.

It was a regular class scheduled day but in the afternoon, we had a program on stage for everyone. It was the KHS GOT TALENT (1^st-2^nd year elimination).

nutrition month celebration

This years’ theme, “Isulong ang Breastfeeding-Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo!”, centralizes on the advocacy of socially correct breastfeeding for infants up to 2 years old.

In preparation for this celebration, after school hours, the disk club members gather together everyday and work on their designated activity for the upcoming events for the month of July. Even though we have a lot of work to do, we make sure that our output for the nutrition month will be fun and exciting for everyone.
